The Book Fair has been extended through Monday, May 20th. If you have not had a chance to visit the Book Fair during this very busy week, please come in on Monday & stock up for summer reading!
Plan to stock up for summer reading at the Buy One - Get One Free Book Fair in the Library next week. Hours of operation are 7:30 - 3:30, M-Th and 7:30 - 3:00 on Friday.
Now with eWallet, students can make a digital payment for books so it is not necessary to bring cash to school. Visit the Book Fair homepage to learn more about eWallet.
Sometimes reading a true (aka nonfiction) story or essay can give you just the right insight to understand and relate to characters that you meet in a novel or short story (fiction). Check out these prefect fiction-nonfiction pairs that will help you dive deeper into your reading. Check out a pair today at the Point Library.
At the beginning of this new year, I set a goal to read at least 52 books (1 each week) AND to keep a record of those books in my notebook and in a Destiny Discover Collection. Here's my collection so far. Check it out by clicking on the image below.
You too can make a collection for any project. Collections can include not just books but also websites, videos, documents, notes, and just about anything in digital form. I encourage you to make a collection with your reading log for the year!
And, if you find yourself stuck at home with nothing to read on this endless parade of snow days, do not despair! You can checkout an ebook or audiobook from home! Email Mrs. Wilding if you need help.
